2011 April News Letter
VDI & IMS/MTT 2011
VDI will be exhibiting in Booth 4411 at the 2011 International Microwave Symposium in
Baltimore. We will be demonstrating our modular THz Kit, PM4 Power Meter and our 1
THz VNA Extenders. We will also be working closely with Agilent to demonstrate our
WR1.5 VNA Extenders and several transmitters and receivers. VDI President Tom
Crowe and VDI CTO Jeffrey Hesler will both be in attendance along various other

Our colleagues from the University of Virginia recently founded DMPI with the mission of supplying novel high-frequency wafer probes to the THz community. They have developed durable, single-chip, replaceable wafer probes for the WR1.5 (500-750GHz) waveguide band. DMPI’s probes are compatible VDI components and are essential for facilitating THz on-wafer test and measurement.
